Foo Fighters to Host Benefit Concert for Homeless in Los Angeles

The Foo Fighters will perform a special benefit concert on January 14, 2026, at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, California. This one-night event aims to raise funds and collect essential goods for two partner organizations, Hope the Mission and Los Angeles Mission, which provide food, shelter, and services to unhoused residents in Los Angeles. The concert coincides with lead singer Dave Grohl‘s 57th birthday, making it a celebratory occasion focused on community support.

Proceeds from the concert, along with items collected during a presale event, will directly contribute to emergency housing, meal programs, and outreach efforts carried out by both nonprofits. Grohl expressed his enthusiasm in a statement, saying, “What better way to spend my 57th birthday than making a bunch of noise with a bunch of friends for a good cause.”

Presale Details and Donation Drive

An in-person-only presale will take place at the Kia Forum on December 7, 2025. This event will also serve as a donation drive for Hope the Mission. Fans seeking early access to tickets will need to bring specific requested items, including new, packaged socks and underwear for all ages and genders, as well as bagged dried pinto beans, rice, and dry pasta like spaghetti or macaroni. Notably, canned goods and perishable items will not be accepted.

General ticket sales details will be shared following the presale. For updates, fans can follow the Foo Fighters on their official Instagram account.

Impact on the Community

Both Hope the Mission and Los Angeles Mission highlighted the significant impact of this partnership. According to Dennis Oleesky, CEO of Los Angeles Mission, “Every ticket purchased, and every donation will directly help feed and house our unhoused neighbors.” Meanwhile, Rowan Vansleve, president of Hope the Mission, praised the Foo Fighters, calling them “an example of what’s possible when people show up and give back.”

The concert is positioned as a crucial opportunity to support the thousands of Angelenos facing homelessness and food insecurity. As the date approaches, the Foo Fighters aim to galvanize the community around this pressing issue, making a meaningful difference in the lives of many.
