Two Men Slashed in Queens Attack Early Sunday Morning

URGENT UPDATE: Two men were brutally slashed in a shocking knife attack in Queens early this morning. The incident occurred just after 4:08 AM on December 7, at the intersection of Barnett Avenue and 48th Street in Sunnyside, according to police sources.

Law enforcement reports that the victims, aged 27 and 25, were targeted while attempting to retrieve a two-wheeled device when two unidentified suspects launched their attack. Officers from the 108th Precinct responded swiftly to a 911 call, arriving on the scene to find the older man suffering from a serious slash wound to the face and his companion with a slash wound to the neck.

Emergency Medical Services transported the 27-year-old to Elmhurst Hospital, where he is currently stable. The 25-year-old declined medical assistance at the scene, police confirmed.

Authorities have recovered a knife believed to be used in the attack and are actively searching for the two suspects involved.
