Urgent Warning: Hamas Likely to Target Europe in Next Six Months

URGENT UPDATE: A new intelligence report warns of a high likelihood that Hamas will launch attacks in Europe within the next six months. This alarming revelation underscores an escalation in the terror group’s operations beyond the Middle East, posing a significant threat to security across the continent.

The report, obtained by The Daily Mirror, details how Hamas has expanded its influence into Europe and the UK, with the risk of coordinated attacks likely to remain elevated for the foreseeable future. Intelligence experts indicate a strategic shift toward developing foreign operational capabilities, moving away from its traditional focus on Israel and Gaza.

Intelligence sources reveal that Hamas has been actively establishing a complex network within Europe, linking itself with charities, non-government organizations, and organized crime. The report highlights that European intelligence services, with support from Israeli agencies, have repeatedly uncovered early-stage plots and logistical networks aimed at facilitating potential operations.

Despite recent setbacks in Gaza, including the loss of key leaders, Hamas appears undeterred and more motivated to assert its influence abroad. The report notes, “The organization’s leadership now appears more willing to accept the strategic risks of external operations,” indicating that the terror group is likely to intensify its global activities.

According to the UK’s MI5 and the Joint Terrorism Analysis Centre, the current threat level is assessed as “substantial.” Over the next six months, Hamas is expected to demonstrate resilience through continued attempts at external operations, particularly targeting Israeli diplomatic missions, businesses, and Jewish sites throughout Europe.

“It is entirely possible that Hamas will feel the need to launch attacks outside Gaza and in Europe,” said Colonel Richard Kemp, a former UK government adviser on terrorism. “Europe would be a place to expect attacks of this sort, and the threat is apparently quite real as Hamas tries to assert its influence.”

The report reveals that Hamas is increasingly utilizing small, compartmented cells backed by pre-positioned weapons and criminal facilitators. Evidence from 2019 to 2025 indicates extensive preparations for potential global operations, including embedding operatives across Europe and establishing covert weapons caches.

Worryingly, Colonel Kemp emphasized that the risk of Hamas attacks will necessitate closer cooperation between British and Israeli intelligence to effectively disrupt any planned operations. “As the risk of attacks from Hamas increases, it will become increasingly necessary for Britain to rely upon Israeli intelligence,” he stated.

This urgent warning serves as a crucial reminder of the evolving landscape of global terrorism, highlighting the need for enhanced vigilance and collaboration among European nations to safeguard against potential threats.
