Kodachrome Joins ‘Maserati: The Brothers’ with Star-Studded Cast

Berlin-based production and finance company Kodachrome has partnered with Bobby Moresco on the upcoming film Maserati: The Brothers. This biopic features an impressive cast, including Anthony Hopkins, Al Pacino, Jessica Alba, Andy Garcia, and Michele Morrone. The project, led by Italian producer Andrea Iervolino, explores the life of Alfieri Maserati, the brilliant engineer whose legacy is deeply embedded in automotive innovation.

Currently in production, Kodachrome is providing financing and strategic production support, particularly focusing on European markets. The deal was negotiated by Michelle Alexandria of Light Year Pictures on behalf of Kodachrome.

Michael Müllner, managing director at Kodachrome, expressed enthusiasm about being involved in such a significant project. “We’re honored to be part of a project that combines cinematic storytelling with one of the most iconic names in racing history,” Müllner remarked. He emphasized that the name Maserati represents “success, emotion, daring design, and pure racing power; all the ingredients for great cinema.”

Kodachrome officially launched during the 2025 European Film Market, founded by Georg Prokop, Michael Müllner, and Josef Brandmaier. The company aims to engage in international co-productions that are both commercially viable and artistically ambitious. Its slate includes notable projects such as The School of Magical Animals 4, the latest installment in Germany’s leading family franchise, the sequel Neo Nuggets to Austria’s popular film Pulled Pork, and a six-part Nordic crime thriller titled A Wolf’s Prey, recently introduced for international sales by AGC Studios at MIPCOM.
