Two Newborns Arrive on Christmas at Connecticut Hospitals

St. Vincent’s Medical Center welcomed baby Ruby at 1:28 a.m., while Hartford Hospital celebrated the arrival of baby Áziel at 3:50 p.m. today, December 25, 2023.

According to Hartford HealthCare, baby Ruby, weighing 6 pounds, 10 ounces and measuring 20 inches long, is the daughter of proud parents Michelle Marano and Andrew Melavczik. The couple expressed their joy in a heartfelt statement, describing the moment as “magical” and a beautiful start to their Christmas.

Meanwhile, baby Áziel, a “Christmas miracle,” entered the world weighing 7 pounds, 14.5 ounces and measuring 21 inches. He is the first child of Lennya Blake and Manuel Rodriguez Jr., who were overwhelmed with happiness at their new arrival.
