Dior Unveils Coed Campaign for Jonathan Anderson’s Collection Launch

Dior has officially launched a coed campaign to showcase the first collections designed by Jonathan Anderson, featuring a star-studded lineup that includes actress Greta Lee and Sunday Rose, the daughter of actress Nicole Kidman. The campaign, photographed by David Sims, also features football star Kylian Mbappé, actor and director Louis Garrel, and rising French actor and new brand ambassador Paul Kircher.

This campaign marks a significant visual shift for Dior, representing the most noticeable change in its identity since Anderson’s appointment as the fashion house’s eighth couturier in June 2023. The images, showcasing a blend of color and black-and-white photography, aim to convey a liberated sense of style, as described by the brand in a recent statement. Dior stated, “Style is how these individuals conduct themselves: the intuitive sense they have when their appearance feels right, and how they dress up each day to become a new character.”

The campaign features a variety of looks, from casual denim to formal lace evening gowns, with unique interpretations of classic wardrobe staples. Anderson has expressed a desire for the men’s and women’s collections to interact, emphasizing the importance of playful clothing combinations. “I want people to be transversal within the store. It’s about playing with clothing,” he noted in an interview with Women’s Wear Daily.

Among the notable moments in the campaign is the appearance of Sunday Rose, who made her runway debut at Miu Miu in October 2024 and walked in the Dior show later that month. The 17-year-old is seen lounging with the other stars on a Louis XVI-style settee, dressed in sheer evening gowns and a variety of accessories, including shoes adorned with bows, a signature of Anderson’s designs.

The campaign also highlights Kircher, who is seen wearing key pieces that draw on Dior’s rich archives. These include a forest green Donegal tweed version of the iconic Bar jacket and cargo shorts inspired by the 1948 Delft dress. Anderson praised Kircher as “an incredible young talent who has an innate sense of style and charm” and indicated that the choice of Kircher is part of a broader strategy to expand the roster of men’s ambassadors.

Mbappé’s involvement adds a dynamic element to the campaign. Pictured in a hotel setting and under a portrait of Christian Dior, his thoughtful poses reflect a balance of strength and gentleness that Anderson believes resonates well with audiences. “Kylian has this rare ability to make strength feel gentle, and David captures that with a precision that feels almost intimate,” Anderson remarked.

Garrel adds a touch of French elegance to the campaign, showcasing a variety of styles ranging from a classic gray flannel suit to a vibrant apple-green knitted cape. Anderson expressed enthusiasm about Garrel’s role, stating that the images evoke a sense of spontaneous charm that lingers long after viewing.

The campaign also introduces a selection of accessories that will soon hit store shelves, including fresh takes on the iconic Lady Dior and Book Tote bags embroidered with literary classics. Additionally, it teases upcoming styles such as the Cigale and Diorly bags, alongside Anderson’s collaboration with artist Sheila Hicks on a Lady Dior bag adorned with red tassels.

With shoes available starting from March 2026, the collection includes options for both women and men, showcasing a range that reflects modern sensibilities while honoring Dior’s historical roots. Styled by Benjamin Bruno, with makeup by Yadim Carranza and hair by Guido Palau, the campaign encapsulates a vision that Anderson has long aspired to create at Dior—one that is elegant yet youthful, and infused with a fresh sense of modernity.
