Stray Kids’ I.N Donates ₩100 Million to National Cancer Center

I.N, a member of the popular K-pop group Stray Kids, made a significant donation of ₩100 million KRW (approximately $68,300 USD) to the National Cancer Center on February 8, coinciding with his birthday. This gesture reflects his gratitude towards fans who have supported him throughout his career. The funds will be directed towards covering medical expenses for vulnerable cancer patients and providing psychological therapy for pediatric and adolescent patients undergoing treatment at the center.

In a heartfelt statement, I.N expressed his desire to share the love he has received from his fans. “I wanted to share the love I received from fans and hope that those enduring long treatments can feel a bit of warmth each day. Though it’s a small contribution, I hope it brings hope and courage, and I sincerely wish for full recovery,” he said.

Consistent Philanthropy

I.N’s commitment to philanthropy is evident in his ongoing charitable contributions. In 2024, he became the youngest member of the Green Noble Club, which recognizes individuals who have donated over ₩100 million KRW to child welfare organizations, including Green Umbrella. His past donations include funding for pediatric cancer patients at Samsung Seoul Hospital on his birthday in 2023.

In addition to these efforts, I.N and his fellow Stray Kids members actively participated in relief initiatives. They supported recovery efforts for wildfire damage in the Gyeongnam and Gyeongbuk regions in April 2025, as well as aiding fire recovery activities in Hong Kong in November.

Upcoming Performances and Global Engagement

As Stray Kids continues to reach remarkable milestones, the group is set to engage with global audiences in 2026. They will perform at the Governors Ball Music Festival in New York City, USA, on June 6, and will headline the prestigious Rock in Rio festival in Brazil on September 11. These performances will further solidify their status as top artists on the international stage.

I.N’s recent donation highlights not only his generosity but also the positive impact that public figures can have through charitable actions. As Stray Kids prepares for their upcoming activities, their commitment to social responsibility remains a key aspect of their identity.
