Low-Cost Spay, Neuter, and Vaccine Clinic Set for February 22

A low-cost spay, neuter, and vaccine clinic will take place on February 22, 2024, at the Chino Hills Civic Center, located at 14010 City Center Drive. Organized by County Supervisor Curt Hagman in collaboration with the non-profit organization Paw Mission, the event aims to provide affordable veterinary services to pet owners in the region.

Vaccination services will be available on a first-come, first-served basis from 10:00 to 14:00 at a cost of $15 per pet. This initiative is designed to support responsible pet ownership and enhance public health by promoting vaccinations among local pets.

For those interested in spaying or neutering their pets, appointments are required. The cost for these procedures is set at $50, and interested pet owners can register through the link provided: bit.ly/SNV22026. The spay and neuter services are exclusively available to residents of the Fourth District, which encompasses Chino, Chino Hills, Montclair, Ontario, and Upland, specifically those living south of 14th Street.

This clinic is an opportunity for pet owners to ensure the health and well-being of their animals while benefiting from significantly reduced costs compared to standard veterinary rates. The collaboration between public officials and non-profit organizations exemplifies a community-focused approach to pet care.

Residents are encouraged to take advantage of this event to help control pet overpopulation and improve the health of their pets.
