New Art Lab Thursdays Launches January 29 for Kids’ Creativity

URGENT UPDATE: Starting January 29, children in Fort Worth will have a fantastic new opportunity to unleash their creativity with the launch of Art Lab Thursdays. This innovative after-school art program is designed for kids aged 6-12, providing a relaxed space for artistic exploration and personal expression.

Every Thursday from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM, students can dive into various art activities, including painting, drawing, clay modeling, and more. Each session kicks off with a guided introduction, followed by open studio time where kids can create at their own pace, supported by experienced instructors from Panther City Artists, a nonprofit committed to inclusive art education.

The emphasis of the program is on process over perfection, allowing kids to build confidence and find joy through making art. This unique approach fosters a love for creativity while encouraging participants to experiment without the fear of comparison.

Parents can choose to register their children for individual sessions at a $25 drop-in fee or opt for a $95 monthly membership that includes four Thursdays of artistic fun. This drop-off program not only provides an engaging outlet for kids but also allows parents some much-needed time for themselves.

The initiative reflects a growing need for accessible, creative outlets for children, especially in a world where self-expression can be transformative. As children engage with various art materials, they develop not just artistic skills but also important life skills such as confidence, resilience, and collaboration.

Don’t miss out on this exciting opportunity! Spaces are limited, so parents are encouraged to register their children as soon as possible. Secure a spot for your young artist today by visiting www.panthercityartists.org.
