Ballerina Farm’s Hannah Neeleman Reveals Daily Life and Legacy

UPDATE: Renowned content creator and Ballerina Farm co-founder, Hannah Neeleman, shares her daily routine and the heartfelt mission behind her thriving 328-acre farm in Utah. With over 21 million followers across social media, Neeleman’s insights into family life and business are captivating audiences now.
In an exclusive interview, Neeleman, 35, reveals how her day begins with her eight children, aged between 21 months and 13 years, and ends with a dedicated skincare routine. She emphasizes the importance of family and faith in shaping her lifestyle brand, which promotes self-sufficiency and sustainable living.
Born into a family that ran a flower shop, Neeleman and her husband, Daniel Neeleman, established Ballerina Farm eight years ago to create a business that involved their children and kept them close. They started with free-range pigs and have since expanded operations to include a variety of farm goods, employing around 100 people today.
“My mornings start around 7 a.m. with my toddlers climbing into bed,” Neeleman shares. “It’s the best alarm clock.” Following a family breakfast, she coordinates the children’s schooling before diving into her responsibilities, balancing parenting with running a business.
Tuesdays are particularly busy for Neeleman, who dedicates her time to filming cooking videos from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., creating elaborate meals that reflect the seasons and fresh ingredients from the farm. “Recipe testing is such a fun day because I love being creative,” she expresses.
Lunch is an essential family gathering, echoing traditions from her time in Brazil. “We aim to eat together at 1 p.m., usually featuring a hearty protein and fresh produce,” she notes. Dinner, however, is more casual due to the children’s varying schedules with sports and activities.
Ballerina Farm operates an online store alongside two brick-and-mortar locations, where they sell baked goods, dairy products, and their signature protein powder. “We want to build something with meaning and depth,” says Neeleman. “It’s not about selling out; it’s about creating a legacy.”
In the evenings, after family prayer and reflection, Neeleman shifts her focus to editing content and taking care of her skin, using tallow-based products. “This is serious; we’ve got to step up our game,” she quips about her nighttime routine.
Sundays are sacred for the Neeleman family, a day reserved for church and family time, free from social media distractions. “It’s a constant journey thinking about how we can put the cleanest, best products in people’s hands,” she states passionately.
As Ballerina Farm continues to flourish, Hannah Neeleman’s commitment to family, faith, and sustainable living resonates with millions, inspiring others to engage in the simple life movement.
