Firefighter Injured in Pigeon Forge Antique Shop Blaze

URGENT UPDATE: A firefighter was injured while battling a significant fire at the Country Mill Crafts and Antiques in Pigeon Forge yesterday evening. The fire erupted around 6:13 PM, prompting a swift response from local fire crews.
According to official reports from Craig Cruise, a public information officer, firefighters arrived to find heavy smoke and flames engulfing the building. During the operation, a firefighter suffered a minor hand injury due to an unexpected shift of a ladder. The injured firefighter was promptly transported to LeConte Medical Center for treatment, as confirmed by WBIR.
Fortunately, the antique shop was closed at the time of the blaze, meaning no civilians were in danger. The Pigeon Forge Fire Department managed to contain the fire, limiting damage to a moderate level. Community members can breathe a sigh of relief as the injured firefighter is expected to make a full recovery.
