FBI Probes Hunting Stand Discovered Near Air Force One

Federal agents are investigating a suspicious hunting stand found near the landing zone of Air Force One at Palm Beach International Airport. This discovery was made just before former President Donald Trump was scheduled to arrive in West Palm Beach.

FBI Director Kash Patel confirmed that the agency has initiated an active investigation into the matter. He noted that the hunting stand appeared to have a direct sight line to where Trump would exit the aircraft. “Prior to the President’s return, the Secret Service discovered what appeared to be an elevated hunting stand within sight line of the Air Force One landing zone,” Patel stated. He also indicated that no individuals were found at the scene, and no connections have been established with any persons of interest.

According to Anthony Guglielmi, the communications chief for the Secret Service, the stand was discovered during advance security preparations ahead of Trump’s arrival. “Items of interest” were noted near the airport, although Guglielmi emphasized that this did not impact any movements and no individuals were present or involved at the location. He remarked, “This incident underscores the importance of our layered security measures,” indicating the rigorous protocols in place to ensure safety.

The investigation has since been taken over by the FBI, which has deployed resources to gather evidence from the scene. Deputy FBI Director Dan Bongino reported that agents dismantled the stand and are currently analyzing it for further evidence. “It’s being flown to our lab,” Bongino stated. “We will apply all the forensic tools we have, from digital tools to biometric tools, to determine who set this up and why.”
