Arts & Crafts Show Moves to New Venue, Promises Holiday Fun

URGENT UPDATE: The Annual Friends of the Conant Public Library Arts & Crafts Show is relocating this year, just in time for the holiday season! Shoppers can visit the new venue at Houghton Elementary and Chocksett Middle Schools, located at 32 Boutelle Road in Sterling, on Saturday, November 22, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

This year, the event promises to be bigger and better, featuring over 50 local artisans showcasing high-quality, handmade gifts. The new location not only provides ample parking but also space for more vendors, reflecting the show’s growing popularity. “This popular juried event has grown significantly, and the new venue allows for even more artists and craftspeople,” stated Beth Cyr, chairperson of the craft fair.

Returning vendors will include a variety of unique offerings such as alpaca products, aromatherapy, beach glass art, jewelry, and more. New participants will add exciting items like maple syrup, pet portraits, olive oil, and custom wreaths to the mix.

Traditions continue with a bake sale, cheese sale, raffle, and a lunch café available at the new location. Admission is just $2, with proceeds supporting valuable programs at the Conant Public Library. Shoppers will receive a Passport stamped at three locations for a chance to win a special prize, enhancing the experience for everyone involved.

Although vendor spaces are currently full, interested artisans can still join the waiting list by contacting Beth Cyr at [email protected]. For more details, visit the Friends of the Conant Public Library Arts & Crafts Show on Facebook or find @ConantLibraryCraftFair on Instagram.

This event is not just a shopping opportunity; it’s a community gathering celebrating local talents and holiday spirit. Don’t miss out on this chance to support local artisans and enjoy a festive atmosphere!
