Upcoming Events for Community Engagement
North Olmsted continues to engage its residents with various activities. Notably, the town is reviving its popular “Nerf Battle Night” at the recreation center on November 21, 2023. This event is designed for children aged 6-12, divided into two age groups for competitive fun. Participants are encouraged to bring their own Nerf blasters, while the Parks and Recreation Department will provide darts and safety goggles.
Additionally, the Cove Community Center invites residents to participate in a weekly breath, body, and mind restoration class led by instructor Paul Francis Zegarac. Scheduled every Monday from 6 to 7 p.m., the sessions aim to promote relaxation through gentle movement and stillness.
The community is also invited to share personal milestones and events for the “A Place in the Sun” column, written on a freelance basis. Information can be submitted at least ten days before the desired publication date.
