Chipotle Mexican Grill is set to enhance its presence in the Greater Los Angeles area with the opening of two new locations on December 31, 2023. The new restaurants will be situated in Moreno Valley and Simi Valley, marking a total of four new locations launched in the region over the past two months.
This expansion follows the opening of a new restaurant at 710 Arneill Rd. in Camarillo on November 20, and another in Eastvale on December 8. The Eastvale location uniquely features a Chipotlane drive-thru, allowing customers to conveniently collect their digital orders without leaving their vehicles.
New Menu Items and Special Offers
The Moreno Valley and Simi Valley restaurants will introduce Carne Asada, the latest protein option, along with a new sauce, Red Chimichurri. In addition to these menu innovations, Chipotle is launching the Chipotle U Rewards program, where students can earn 1,000 bonus points upon enrollment. This initiative aims to engage younger customers and enhance loyalty.
During the holiday season, Chipotle will offer a Build-Your-Own Chipotle meal kit designed to serve four to six people, allowing customers to create customized meals at home. Additionally, the brand is providing a buy-one-get-one (BOGO) entrée offer at their restaurants on the first three Saturdays of December after 4 PM. Customers enrolled in the rewards program will receive exclusive treats throughout the month, including free chips, guacamole, double protein, or a complimentary drink.
Hiring Initiatives and Community Impact
As part of this expansion, Chipotle is actively hiring for the new locations in Simi Valley, Eastvale, and Moreno Valley, along with other outlets across the United States. Each restaurant aims to fill approximately 30 positions, offering a range of benefits. These include an additional month’s pay annually, a debt-free college degree program, and mental health resources.
Through this strategic growth, Chipotle not only strengthens its footprint in Greater Los Angeles but also reinforces its commitment to community engagement and employee welfare. The combination of new menu offerings, innovative rewards, and job opportunities is set to enhance the dining experience for customers and contribute positively to local economies.
