IRIS Software Group Appoints New CFO and President for Growth

IRIS Software Group, a leading global provider of accounting, payroll, HR, and education solutions, has announced two key executive appointments aimed at driving its growth strategy. Effective December 1, 2025, Shemin Nurmohamed will take on the role of President and General Manager for the Americas, while Jens Ulrik Knudsen will join as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) on January 2, 2026. These hires come as IRIS seeks to enhance its operational capabilities and expand its market presence, particularly in North America.

Jens Ulrik Knudsen to Lead Financial Strategy

Jens Ulrik Knudsen brings over 20 years of international financial experience to IRIS. His most recent position was as Interim Group CFO at Aceve, a private equity-backed SaaS platform, where he played a crucial role in modernizing financial operations and facilitating rapid growth. Prior to that, he was CFO at Globus Wine, where he implemented a comprehensive strategic overhaul that significantly improved profitability. In his new role at IRIS, Knudsen will oversee the financial strategy and operations, ensuring that the company continues to invest strategically in solutions that deliver long-term value to its global customer base.

Shemin Nurmohamed to Drive North American Expansion

As President and General Manager for the Americas, Shemin Nurmohamed will spearhead IRIS’s efforts to accelerate growth in North America, a key market for the company. With more than 25 years of experience in scaling technology and SaaS businesses, Nurmohamed is well-equipped to enhance customer experiences and drive innovation. Her previous role was as President of Sending Technology Solutions at Pitney Bowes, where she led a division generating $1.3 billion in revenue. Additionally, she spent 17 years at IBM in various global finance and operational leadership roles, including CFO for IBM Systems.

Jason Dies, CEO of IRIS Software Group, emphasized the importance of these appointments in a statement: “These appointments mark a pivotal moment for IRIS as we accelerate our growth ambitions. Jens brings the financial rigor and strategic discipline to fuel sustainable, profitable growth. Shemin’s proven track record in transforming customer experience will be instrumental as we scale our presence across North America.”

Both Knudsen and Nurmohamed will work closely with former executives Michael Cox and Jim Dunham, who are departing after notable tenures. Cox served as CFO for seven years, overseeing significant global expansion, while Dunham led the North American operations for three years.
