Beloved Matriarch Mary L. Bowman Passes Away at 99

Mary L. Bowman, a cherished member of her family and community, passed away on January 26, 2026, at the age of 99. Her legacy endures through her children, Ron and Gloria Murillo, as well as her grandsons, Anthony Murillo and Ron Jr., along with seven great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Lois and many nieces and nephews.

Born into a loving family, Mary dedicated her life to nurturing those around her. She spent her final years at Marian Cerenity Care in St. Paul, where she resided since October 2020. Her family has expressed profound gratitude for the care and love she received, particularly from her grandson, Tony, and her niece, Kathy.

Celebration of Life Scheduled for March

A celebration of Mary’s life will take place on March 7, 2026, at 11 AM at O’Halloran & Murphy Funeral Home, located at 575 S. Snelling Ave. in St. Paul. Family and friends are invited to join in honoring her remarkable journey and the impact she had on so many lives.

Mary was predeceased by her beloved husband, Tony, her son Dennis, her granddaughter Cissy, and her brother Bud. Following the celebration, a private burial service will be held at Fort Snelling National Cemetery, where Mary will be laid to rest beside her husband.

Throughout her life, Mary remained a steadfast source of love and support for her family. Her kindness and wisdom will be remembered and cherished by all who knew her. As her loved ones gather to celebrate her life, they honor not just her memory but the invaluable lessons she imparted through her years of love and dedication.
