Brooks Nader has revealed the details of her romantic involvement with professional dancer Gleb Savchenko, stating that the two became intimate on their first day of meeting while partnered on the popular television show, Dancing With the Stars. During an appearance on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen on December 18, 2023, Nader shared her experience, which surprised both Cohen and fellow guest Erika Jayne.
Nader, 28, recalled the instant chemistry she felt with Savchenko, 42, from the moment they were introduced. “The day I met him — the meet and greet,” she said. She explained that the attraction was so palpable that she felt it necessary to address it early on. “I was newly divorced and I told them, ‘Give me the hottest, douchiest guy,’ and they gave me Gleb,” Nader added, reflecting on the strong sexual tension that was evident from their first encounter.
Nader stated, “I just wanted to … let’s see what we’re working with! I was like, ‘Let’s just get that over with.’” She described the experience positively, saying, “It was great. Dancers know how to … I’ve heard that from a lot of people and it’s true. Highly recommend. Don’t marry the dancer, but f*** the dancer.”
The relationship between Nader and Savchenko lasted nearly a year, ending in April 2024. A source revealed at that time that Nader was the one who initiated the breakup. Tensions appear to have persisted even after their split, as Nader accused Savchenko of infidelity during the premiere episode of her reality show, Love Thy Nader. In response, Savchenko insisted, “I’m not a cheater. I’m actually a family guy. I’m a relationship guy.”
In a statement following their breakup, Savchenko expressed surprise over Nader’s decision to end things, noting that the last communication he received from her was a request to talk on April 6. He stated, “I called her today in response, but she has not replied.”
During a subsequent appearance on Watch What Happens Live, Nader did not hold back in her criticism of Savchenko, labeling him as “a completely creepy person.” She elaborated, saying, “I had no chance. I was f***ed, literally and physically, from the start when I went on that show.”
Savchenko, who has also been known for his previous partnership with Jayne on the show during its 24th season, had previously commented on the dynamic between himself and Nader. He noted, “We have a good energy. Like, I think we got good vibes. I mean, it’s nice to be in the room for five hours a day with someone that you get along with.”
