Dr. Sedgwick, a fellowship-trained breast radiologist, brings a wealth of experience to her new role. Her background includes leadership positions such as CEO of University Medical Center New Orleans and Executive Chief Medical Officer at UK HealthCare. Throughout her career, she has focused on improving women’s health and increasing access to high-quality breast care across various communities.
In her role at Solis Mammography, Dr. Sedgwick will be instrumental in shaping the clinical leadership and ensuring that the organization continues to excel in screening and diagnostic services. Her previous initiatives have led to notable improvements in patient care, including the successful elimination of an 89-day delay between abnormal mammograms and biopsies in underserved areas.
Dr. Sedgwick’s contributions to the field have garnered national recognition, including the title of Press Ganey National Physician of the Year. She is a Fellow of the Society of Breast Imaging and was recognized in Dr. Thomas Lee’s book, *The Good Doctor*, for her exemplary leadership in healthcare.
