Kendall Jenner Reflects on Virginity and Future Family Plans

Kendall Jenner opened up about her personal experiences and thoughts on family during a recent episode of *The Kardashians*, which aired on October 23, 2023. In a candid moment with her mother, Kris Jenner, the 29-year-old model shared a surprising revelation about losing her virginity, stating, “I lost my virginity in that room. I actually didn’t. It was at his house.” This admission caught Kris off guard as Kendall went on to explain that her parents were largely unconcerned about her activities while growing up.
Kendall humorously noted her mother’s laid-back parenting style, saying, “Not only did she not know, she really didn’t give a f***. She was like, ‘Oh, you are going out until Wednesday? Great. Never come back.’” The family dynamics became a focal point as Kendall recalled her teenage years, referencing her and her sister Kylie’s escapades, including smoking in a cabana at their home.
Romantic Relationships and Family Aspirations
Kendall has frequently made headlines due to her high-profile relationships, including those with musician Bad Bunny and NBA player Devin Booker. In May 2019, she discussed her fluctuating feelings about starting a family, expressing, “Some days, I’ll be there and I’ll be like, ‘I think it’s happening. I think I have the fever.’” However, during a 2022 episode, she jokingly referred to her many nieces and nephews as “massive birth control,” reflecting on the challenges of motherhood.
When pressed about her future family plans, Kendall admitted to feeling uncomfortable with the topic. “You keep telling me, ‘You’re not getting any younger.’ But guess what? It’s my life,” she told Kris in the show. Despite her mother’s proactive approach, including contacting their OBGYN about egg freezing, Kendall emphasized her desire to enjoy her independence. “I still have a lot to figure out before I can, like, welcome a child into my life,” she stated.
Changing Perspectives on Parenthood
In a 2024 interview with *Vogue*, Kendall reflected on her evolving views about parenthood. “When I was young, I used to say that by 27, I’d love to have kids. Now I’m past that and I feel like I’m still so young. I’m enjoying my kidless freedom.” She credited fellow supermodel Christy Turlington as a source of inspiration for balancing a career in modeling with family life, admiring her calm demeanor and approach.
Kendall’s insights resonate with many young adults navigating similar dilemmas between personal aspirations and societal expectations regarding family life. “Relationships mean so much to me, and I can’t wait to have a life with someone one day, to have kids, to create a family,” she shared, highlighting her hopes for the future.
The episode serves as a reminder of the complexities of growing up in the public eye, with Kendall navigating both her personal journey and the pressures that accompany fame. Her candid remarks open up a dialogue about the choices many young people face today regarding love, family, and independence.
