Megyn Kelly and Mark Levin Engage in Heated Public Feud

Megyn Kelly has publicly challenged former Fox News colleague Mark Levin following his disparaging remarks about social media influencer Jack Posobiec. The dispute began when Levin criticized Posobiec for displaying a rosary during a speech at Turning Point USA’s AmericaFest on December 15, 2023. Levin, who is Jewish, referred to Posobiec as a “crackpot,” igniting a fierce exchange of words online.

Kelly, who shared the stage with Posobiec at the event, defended him on X, stating, “Off to go pray the beautiful rosary @JackPosobiec gave me, like virtually all Christians do, which doesn’t make us ‘crackpots’ no matter what some old, angry anti-Christian nut on weekend Fox says.” Her post, which she shared on December 18, 2023, also included a jab at Levin’s career, remarking, “Never could get himself into prime time. Sad!”

Levin, 68, known for hosting the Fox weekend program Life, Liberty and Levin, responded later that evening, promising a more thorough rebuttal on his radio show. He wrote, “It’s not possible to keep up with the Woke Reich psychos and groyper-bigots like Megyn Kelly on social media.” Levin’s comments included further criticism of Kelly, labeling her as a “click wh*re” and questioning her conservative credentials.

The conflict intensified as Levin continued to target Posobiec. He highlighted a recent incident where fitness podcaster Myron Gaines directed antisemitic slurs at a Jewish woman outside the conference. Levin remarked, “Here’s the lowlife Jack Posobiec pals around with,” referencing a photograph that showed both Posobiec and Gaines together, smiling. Levin added, “This is why Hack Jack is widely condemned. NOT because of his faith. That’s HIS repulsive deflective propaganda.”

Levin’s critiques extended to Kelly’s alignment with Posobiec, suggesting they both belong to a group he described as “sinister grifters.” His comments reflect a broader tension within right-wing media circles, where loyalty and ideological purity are often scrutinized.

The controversy has unfolded against the backdrop of Kelly’s recent criticisms of other right-wing figures, including Ben Shapiro and Bari Weiss. She has accused them of fostering antisemitism, which drew a response from the Anti-Defamation League. The organization cautioned that holding Jewish personalities accountable for antisemitism can tread into dangerous territory, echoing traditional victim-blaming narratives.

Kelly, a former Fox News host known for her incisive interviews and political commentary, and Levin, a prominent radio personality with a strong pro-Israel stance, continue to represent contrasting perspectives within the conservative media landscape. As their public feud unfolds, it highlights the fractious nature of contemporary political discourse and the personal animosities that can arise within it.
