Donald Trump’s Grandson Dresses as Money for Halloween

The Trump family is preparing for Halloween with a unique theme this year. President Donald Trump’s grandson, Luke Trump, will don a costume representing the family’s most prized asset: money. Lara Trump, wife of Eric Trump and daughter-in-law to the former president, shared this decision in a video posted online on Wednesday.

In the video, Lara revealed that while she and her daughter, Carolina Trump, will be dressing as characters from the popular Netflix series, KPop Demon Hunters, Luke has opted for a more unconventional choice. He will be dressed as a $100 bill. “Now, my son was very interesting,” Lara explained. “He decided like a month ago. He’s like, ‘I know what I want to be for Halloween.’ I was like, ‘Great. Give me the order so I can get this done.’ He was like, ‘I’m going to be money.’”

Lara humorously added, “That’s right. Yeah. I mean, you think this is Donald Trump’s grandson? My son, Luke, is going to be money. So, I got him… it looks like a giant $100 bill.”

As for Eric, he has yet to decide on his own Halloween costume, leaving the family celebration somewhat open-ended. This playful family moment contrasts sharply with recent financial news surrounding the Trump family.

According to a report from Reuters, Donald Trump’s sons, Eric and Donald Trump Jr., have significantly boosted the family’s finances this year. They have collectively enriched the Trump family’s holdings by an impressive $864 million through various investment solicitations. This amount marks a considerable rise from the previous year’s income, which stood at $51 million. Interestingly, the Trump Organization reported only $579,000 from cryptocurrency ventures in the first half of 2024, while the first half of 2025 saw this figure soar to $802 million.

While the family’s Halloween celebrations are light-hearted, the financial landscape surrounding them is more complex. One particular investor, Guren “Bobby” Zhou, a Chinese businessman, is currently under investigation in the United Kingdom for allegations of money laundering, casting a shadow on the recent financial successes.

As Halloween approaches, the Trump family’s fun-filled costume choices juxtapose the serious nature of their financial dealings, offering a glimpse into the duality of their public persona.
