Thornton Academy Dominates Varsity Maine Football Poll Ahead of Playoffs

The Varsity Maine football poll reveals limited changes as the Class A playoffs approach. Thornton Academy retains its position as the unanimous No. 1 team after securing a significant victory against No. 5 Noble, winning 27-14. The recent poll saw a shift in rankings, with Portland moving up to fourth place following their win against South Portland, while Noble dropped to fifth after their defeat.
