BREAKING: Antonino “Tony” Morici, Sr., a cherished figure in the Palmer Township community and proprietor of Morici’s Restaurant, passed away on December 10, 2025, at the age of 78. Surrounded by family at his home, his loss resonates deeply among friends and patrons who adored his culinary prowess and warm spirit.
Born on August 23, 1947, in Santo Stefano di Camastra, Sicily, Tony was the son of the late Francesco and Annunziata (Cerniglia) Morici. He was not only a dedicated family man but also a devout Catholic, actively involved in St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church and the Holy Cross Society. His unique ability to create mouthwatering Italian dishes and homemade wine made him a beloved host among family and friends.
Tony’s legacy is carried on by his loving wife of 54 years, Maria (Galati) Morici, and their children: Frank and Meghan Morici of Nazareth, PA; Santo and Ashley Morici of Gainesville, GA; and Anthony “Nino” and Bobbie Morici of Palmer Township, PA. He also leaves behind a cherished group of grandchildren: Nino, Sammy, Dominic, Natalie, Santino, Madelyn, Gianna, Luciano, and Colton, who will forever remember his loving nature.
The community is invited to pay their respects during calling hours on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Morello Funeral Home, Inc., located at 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA. An additional calling hour will take place on Thursday, December 18, 2025, from 8:45 AM to 9:45 AM at the same location.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, December 18, 2025, at 10:30 AM at St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church, 4049 Hartley Avenue, Easton, PA. Interment will follow at St. Anthony’s Cemetery, 520 Cedarville Road, Easton, PA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Tony’s name to the Saint Padre Pio Shrine, 111 Barto Road, Barto, PA 19504.
