Bryan Edward Carpentier, 81, Passes Away; Honors Set for Oct 31

BREAKING NEWS: Bryan Edward Carpentier, aged 81, has passed away peacefully in Iron River, Wisconsin, on October 16, 2025, surrounded by his beloved family. Known for his creativity, generosity, and kind demeanor, Bryan’s passing leaves a profound impact on all who knew him.

Bryan, originally from Southington, Connecticut, was the eldest of five siblings. He is survived by his brothers Skip, Charlie, Ron, and sister Sue, as well as his girlfriend, Margie. His legacy continues through his children: Robert (Jenny), David (Susan), and Wendy (Jeff), along with his cherished grandchildren, including Zoe, Kayla, Jacob, Skylar, Zachary, Rylee, and McKenzie.

His family was Bryan’s world. He dedicated his life to supporting his children and grandchildren, attending numerous activities and coaching them whenever possible. Bryan, a proud veteran, served over 26 years in the Air Force and the 148th Fighter Wing Minnesota Air National Guard, demonstrating unwavering commitment to his country.

In addition to his military service, Bryan was deeply involved in his community. He contributed significantly to various local organizations, including extensive volunteer work with the Trinity Free Masonic Lodge #282 for over 54 years. His most notable community service was with the Bentleyville City of Duluth Holiday Lights Display, where he worked on the Electrical, Santa, and Marketing teams for more than 17 years.

A full military honors memorial service is scheduled for October 31, 2025, at 3:00 PM at the Minnesota State Veteran’s Cemetery in Saginaw, MN. Following the service, a Celebration of Life will be held at 4:00 PM at the AAD Shrine Meeting & Event Center in Hermantown, MN.
