Richard L. Rotelli, Beloved Chelmsford Resident, Passes Away at 91

BREAKING: Richard L. Rotelli, age 91, a cherished figure in the Chelmsford community, has passed away peacefully at Chelmsford Crossings on February 5, 2026. His death marks a profound loss for family and friends, as he was the beloved husband of the late Patricia E. (Tierney) Rotelli, with whom he shared 58 years of marriage until her passing in 2015.

Born in Framingham on September 12, 1934, Richard, affectionately known as Dick, was a devoted family man. He is survived by his four children: Richard L. Rotelli, Jr. and wife Diana of West Greenwich, RI; Thomas C. Rotelli and wife Kimberly of Roxborough Park, CO; Carole A. Beaulieu and husband Thomas of Merrimack, NH; and Michael R. Rotelli and wife Maryanne of Pepperell, MA. The family also mourns the loss of their beloved patriarch alongside his 10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren, who will carry his memory forward.

Visiting hours are scheduled for Thursday, February 12, 2026, from 4 PM to 6 PM at Blake Chelmsford Funeral Home, located at 24 Worthen Street, Chelmsford. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday, February 13, 2026, at 11 AM at St. Mary Parish, 25 North Road, Chelmsford. Family and friends are kindly asked to meet at the church for the service. Following the Mass, interment will be held at Pine Ridge Cemetery in Chelmsford.
