BREAKING NEWS: Sally J. Ifkovits, a cherished member of the Northampton community, has passed away at the age of 62. She died peacefully on November 20, 2025, in the Inpatient Hospice Unit at Lehigh Valley Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.
Ifkovits dedicated over 32 years to her career at People First Federal Credit Union, where she rose from member services manager to card and ATM operations manager. Her contributions to the community were significant, as she was known for her deep commitment to helping others.
She leaves behind her husband of 37 years, Michael J. Ifkovits, along with her two sons, Riley and Alex, and her beloved grandson, Paxton, who brought her immense joy. Family and friends remember her as a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who cherished every moment spent with her loved ones.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 2nd, from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the Reichel Funeral Home, located at 326 E. 21st St., Northampton. A prayer service will follow at 11:00 a.m. Interment will take place at Fairview Cemetery in Northampton.
