Deputies from the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station responded to reports of a disturbance at 2:30 p.m. in the 24000 block of Valencia Boulevard. Surveillance footage captured the suspect, a 34-year-old transient from Van Nuys, violently grabbing one of the turtles and slamming it onto the ground.
