UPDATE: Authorities have apprehended a suspect linked to a recent shooting incident in Pasco, Washington. Osman Morales-Salto, wanted on a staggering $5 million arrest warrant, was arrested in Pullman on Wednesday after a coordinated effort by local police.
The Pullman Police Department received tips Tuesday evening from the Pasco Police Department regarding Morales-Salto’s possible presence in the Aspen Heights area on Military Hill. He is facing six counts of first-degree assault related to a shooting that occurred early Sunday morning in Pasco.
A multi-agency response followed, including the Whitman County Regional SWAT Team and the Latah County Regional SWAT Team. After several hours of surveillance, officials confirmed Morales-Salto’s location and arrested him without incident.
