UPDATE: Chicago authorities are actively searching for a suspect involved in a brazen armed robbery that occurred on the CTA Orange Line early Saturday morning. The incident took place in the Clearing neighborhood, specifically in the 4600 block of W. 59th Street around 12:30 a.m.

According to Chicago Police, the suspect approached a passenger with a weapon while the train was in motion. He is described as a Black male, aged between 20 and 30 years, standing between 6’00” and 6’02” and weighing approximately 180 lbs. Witnesses report he has short hair and may have tattoos on both arms.

He was last seen wearing a distinctive light-colored jersey emblazoned with the words “Wild One” and the number “13” on the front. The back of the jersey features the word “trouble” along with two panther faces. He was also wearing black pants with the phrase “Nah I’m good” in white lettering on the upper left leg, complemented by black gym shoes.

Police are urging the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious behavior. They emphasize the importance of pressing the emergency button on trains, alerting transit attendants, and immediately calling 911 if necessary.
