Houston Police Urgently Seek Help Identifying Carjacking Suspects
UPDATE: The Houston Police Department’s Robbery Division is urgently seeking public assistance to identify two suspects involved in a shocking carjacking and armed robbery that occurred near Midtown. The incident unfolded late on September 2, on the 1100 block of Westheimer, where one suspect brandished a handgun and forcibly stole the victim’s vehicle.
Just one day later, the abandoned vehicle was located on the 1400 block of Hawthorne, prompting authorities to intensify their investigation. This case has been assigned the reference number 1152686-25.
Authorities describe one suspect as a Black male, aged between 50-55 years old, standing about 5’7″ tall and weighing approximately 150–160 pounds. He may go by the names “Charles” or “UNC.” The second suspect is also a Black male, but further details remain limited.
The Houston Police Department is calling on anyone with information to step forward. Individuals can contact Crime Stoppers anonymously and may be eligible for a reward of up to $5,000 for tips leading to the identification or arrest of the suspects. Tips can be submitted by calling 713-222-TIPS (8477), visiting the Crime Stoppers website, or using their mobile app.
