The annual Dr. Herman C. Ensor Lights of Love Ceremony will take place on December 9, 2025, at 6 p.m. in St. John’s Christ Hall. Hosted by the Cullman Regional Foundation, this event provides an opportunity for community members to honor loved ones during the festive season.
Participants can make a donation of $20, $40, $60, or more to place a light on the Christmas tree at Cullman Regional in tribute to someone special. The contributions are tax-deductible and will support the Foundation’s mission to enhance healthcare services at the hospital. Each donor will receive a special acknowledgement card for those being honored, as well as for the families of individuals being remembered.
Maria Stanford, Executive Director of the Cullman Regional Foundation, expressed the significance of the event, stating, “Special music during the program will be provided by Daystar Praise Team, at which time individuals will be recognized.” The ceremony is open to the public, encouraging everyone to attend and participate in this meaningful occasion.
This year, the event will be dedicated to patients of Cullman Regional Hospice, and it will also honor the memory of James Edge while celebrating the contributions of Cindy Ponder. Donations can be made throughout the holiday season, but contributions received by December 8 will be included in the special ceremony.
Individuals wishing to make a donation can do so online at www.cullmanregional.com/foundation/events or by calling the Foundation at 256-737-2565 for further information. This heartfelt event serves as a reminder of the impact of community support during the holidays, bringing light and love to those who matter most.
