East Texas baseball teams are preparing for an exciting final weekend of tournament action, beginning on March 15, 2024. Weather conditions could impact some games, but teams are focused on their matchups across various tournaments.
Spring Hill and Pine Tree in Action
Spring Hill will compete in the Bill Frick Ford Classic in Huntsville. The Panthers’ schedule includes a game against Porter at 13:30 and Gregory-Portland at 15:45 on Thursday. On Friday, they will face Huffman at 09:00 and Terry at 11:15, wrapping up their tournament with a match against Round Rock Westwood at 09:00 on Saturday.
In the meantime, Pine Tree and Gilmer are set to compete in the Athens Tournament. Pine Tree will take on Palmer at 16:00 on Thursday, followed by games against Grand Saline at 14:00 and Athens at 16:00 on Friday. Their final game will be against Malakoff at 14:00 on Saturday. Gilmer has a busy schedule, facing Malakoff at noon and Grand Saline at 14:00 on Thursday, then Scurry Rosser at noon on Friday and Palmer at 16:00 on Saturday.
Hallsville and Longview Compete in Reich Builders Classic
The annual Reich Builders Classic will feature Hallsville and Longview on Thursday and Friday. In Hallsville, the first match on Thursday pits Hallsville against Liberty-Eylau at 13:30, followed by Lewisville against Liberty-Eylau at 15:45 and Hallsville versus Lewisville at 18:00. Meanwhile, Longview will play at Lindale, starting with a matchup against Lindale at 13:30, then facing Pleasant Grove at 15:45 and concluding with Lindale against Pleasant Grove at 18:00.
All games on Friday will take place in Hallsville, featuring a lineup that includes Lewisville versus Longview at 09:00, Hallsville against Longview at 11:15, and several others throughout the day, culminating in Hallsville facing Lindale at 20:15.
Tatum will host the Bryan Warf Memorial Tournament, with five games scheduled for Thursday and three on Saturday. Thursday’s action begins with Central Heights taking on Henderson at 09:00, followed by matches featuring Diboll and New Diana at 14:00, and concluding with Tatum against Marshall at 19:00.
