Patricia A. Huber, Beloved Community Member, Passes Away at 77

UPDATE: Patricia “Pat” Anne Huber, aged 77, of Coopersburg, PA, has passed away at St. Luke’s Fountain Hill on December 7, 2025. Her unexpected loss has left a profound impact on family, friends, and the community.

Pat Huber was a dedicated physician and a vibrant member of her community. She was born on July 15, 1948, to the late Maurice Duane Huber and Jean Anne Fretz. Pat shared a beautiful 35-year marriage with her husband, Dr. R. Steven Sisson, and was a proud mom to her daughter, Dana Sisson, who was not only her child but also her best friend.

Pat’s remarkable journey began at the University of Rochester, where she completed her undergraduate studies before earning her M.D. from the University of Texas at Galveston. She later completed her residency at the University of Pennsylvania, showcasing her unwavering commitment to medicine and patient care throughout her career.

Beyond her professional achievements, Pat was known for her love of cooking, gardening, and reading. She often gathered friends and family around her table, sharing her culinary creations and warm spirit. Her passion for floral arranging reflected her appreciation for nature’s beauty, further enriching her life and the lives of those around her.

Pat was also a devoted member of Trinity Episcopal Church, where she found community and purpose. Her faith was a cornerstone in her life, fostering deep connections and lasting friendships.

Pat is survived by her husband, Dr. Steven Sisson; daughter, Dana Sisson; nephew, Jeff Huber; and her beloved cats, Toby and Russo. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness and compassion that touched the hearts of many.

Calling hours are set for 1-2 p.m. on Sunday, December 28, 2025, at St. Margaret’s Episcopal Church, located at 150 Elm St, Emmaus, PA 18049. A memorial service will follow at 2 p.m., officiated by Mother Laura Howell.
